Note for consumers in Karnataka State only
Notification dated 21.07.2011 from the Department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Govt. of Karnataka requires that all Domestic LPG consumers in Karnataka (existing and new) furnish the Electricity RR Numbers of their residence. This is a mandatory requirement for all LPG Consumers.

EXISTING CONSUMERS may please log on to their website http://ahara.kar.nic.in
a. Click on the scrolling link provided on the web page.
b. Consumer can verify using "Verification Status" if his/ her consumer number has been cleared
c. If not cleared, consumer has to enter his/ her details at the provision for "Enter/ Upload ESCOM RR Number" along with scanned copy of Electricity Bill
d. This will generate an Acknowledgment Number which may be noted
e. Consumer can verify (after 2-3 working days) whether his/ her consumer number has been cleared by the Civil Supplies
f. Resumption of LPG refill supplies can be done only after the clearance is obtained

CONSUMERS REQUIRING RE-CONNECTION AGAINST TV/ CTA: Re-connection and first supply would be given. However, subsequent refill supply will be only after obtaining clearance for which steps (c) to (f) given above will apply.
